Management of Security – 27th – 28th April in Gaziantep, 4th – 5th May in Antakya, 2 days $660 per person
Summary – The Management of Security course is an ideal course for participants who are new into decision making positions as well as those who are seeking a refresher into the principles of managing security. The course looks at both preventative and reactive measures for keeping a programme running and a team safe, using real life incidents to use for decision making scenarios.
Personal Security – 29th – 30th April, 1 day $330 per person, 2 days $660 per person
Summary – This one day personal security course is a great introduction for participants who travel to the field to personal security. Participants will blend theory and classroom activities looking at risk assessments and preventative measures as well as reactive ones to enable them to have a safe and fulfilling trip.
First Aid – 1st – 2nd May, 2 days – $660 per person
Summary – Field based first aid suitable for complex environments. Our First Aid Instructors will take you through first aid with theory and practicals. First Aid includes Protecting yourself with sessions on scene assessment and barriers; Airways, Breathing and Circulation; field related injuries, splinting, bandaging and how to assess the injury. The course is a fun and lively designed to help you convert theory into confidence boosting practice.
Crisis Preparedness – 2nd May, 1 day $330 per person
Summary – This one day course is designed to help decision makers identify the most suitable response to a crisis. The course is a blend of theory and scenario based training on the table top with great take aways for all participants to help them identify improvement opportunities for their own agencies preparedness. This lively and interactive course will empower decision makers to put plans into place.
Security Focal Point – 2nd May, 1 day $330 per person
Summary – The SFP course is a great learning opportunity for all staff new to the SFP role and ideal as a refresher for those who are already in post. This lively and dynamic course brings together theory and practice in a useful and hands on manner, by looking at risk assessments, organisational and personal mitigation measures, travel planning and information management.
